What you will be doing
As a Mobile Developer at Instabee you will be working in an agile cross-functional team with a clear mission and problem space to solve. All of our teams are highly collaborative and we’re looking for people who thrive on working closely with other engineers to solve hard problems. Together with stakeholders and project managers, you will design APIs and create applications that are used by all branches within the company and our customers.

Our engineers make some of the most important decisions for the company and our products. We’re looking for people who want to get things done and have an impact. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to exercise real ownership of the apps that are owned by your team.

About the role
We're looking for an experienced Mobile Developer who thinks it's fun to create useful applications and services which all contribute to a great customer experience. As a Mobile Developer, you'll get the opportunity to have a great impact in everything from choices of techniques to system architecture. Both Android and iOS experience is required since we’re building everything using Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile. This means that the day-to-day programming language will be Kotlin but with the iOS experience as really valuable to be able to create efficient platform implementations, testing on iOS, and making sure we have a great deployment pipeline.

What we have

• Our codebase is completely Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile with specific platform implementations where needed

• Compose Multiplatform is the UI framework that we are using for both platforms

• Our deployment target is iOS 15

• We use our own internal frameworks within our projects

• We work with coding guidelines and review each other’s code

• We're passionate about code and product quality, design, and user experience

Who you are
At Instabee we value individuals who are keen to learn, and your eagerness to develop your own skillset will undoubtedly be your strongest asset when joining us. You are a skilled problem solver who loves coding and making complex things work. We imagine that you would have some of the following points on your resumé:

• At least of couple years of experience as both an iOS and Android Developer (Kotlin)

• You think it's fun to create feature-rich internal apps for different types of hardware that are used in the core of the business

• It is an advantage if you have a Bsc or Msc in Computer Science or a related discipline

• It is an advantage if you also have been working with dependency injection, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile, Compose Multiplatform, Kotlin Coroutines, hardware, unit/instrumented tests, and CI/CD

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Live in Stockholm, Sweden

Nice to have:

• Experience with IoT

• Comfortable coaching and guiding colleagues and stakeholders
